Sartorial Beauty

Dita Von Teese Launches Her New Perfume at Liberty

What a woman, the majority of us females can only aspire to be like her, exuding elegance and poise.
Place this woman in the 1920's and she wouldn't be out of place!

She is a prime example of how to highlight and make the most of all female features.

How all women would want to be greeted at every entrance!

Childhood Fantasy

So....casually passing the time of day through Facebook and stumbled across something much more useful, rather than the latest "Relationship Status" scandal!!! The latest edition to
Liberty London merchandise;

"Little Liberty Wallpaper"

Is it sad that being a grown woman and I would actually be very happy with this wallpaper in my room?!

Procrastinating

Morning all...

So as I have spent my morning procrastinating and what better way to do so by getting lost in endless in email subscriptions and blog followings, one of the many scrolls took me through to Time magazine who have just released their "ALL-TIME 100 Fashion Icons", follow the link below and see which ones you agree with, especially if you too need a procrastination catalyst!

Here are my definite all time #LIKES from the list!

Designer #1:
Jil Sander
(And even better that she's returning to the label)

Designer #2:
Coco Chanel
An obvious choice, but this was the woman that made put the 'C' in 'Class'

Photographer #1
Richard Avedon
(The Man that made glasses look 'cool')

Photographer #2
Cecil Beaton
This one isn't on the list which I just think is an absolute shocker

Muse #1
Audrey Hepburn
(The female love of my life that is able to make me feel a little less guilty about smoking!)

Go to Time Magazine website now to pick your favourites!

Happy Procrastinating!

Kensington Palace

So here is my first non introductory post....

As I have the wonderful luxury to work from home most of the time, I do like to take the opportunity to incorporate a little culture fix every now and again, especially when it comes to this time of year, London is always one of the best places to be!

Unfortunately, I have had a quick gander at my usual weather source and London is looking rather grey and wet for the remainder of the week (fingers crossed it picks up for #EasterWeekend) but c'est la vie this slight annoyance gives me the chance to head to the newly rejuvenated 'Kensington Palace' and loose a few hours in history and monarchy.

I'm sure most of you have heard of the re-opening of one of our most infamous palaces. So I think a trip to be nosy to see what has changed is definitely in order! If its one thing England does well, its historical buildings and making sure everyone can enjoy them.

Now although I have already paid a visit to the 'Enchanted Palace' display within the grounds, you can never see Princess Diana's sartorial dresses too many times!

I will do my best to get a selection of pictures posted later this week!

But let me leave you with this, instead of using the opportunity of this bank holiday weekend to escape the drag of the big smoke, use it to enjoy one of the many splendours of this beautiful city and lets support our devoted royal family.

Just a little message...

To all those that may be reading my blog....

Just to give you a brief lowdown into how I got the inspiration for "Through the Keyhole", when I decided to start this blog I'd been throwing around ideas about what kind of style and theme I wanted to focus on and the name "Through the Keyhole" came to me.

I want this blog to provide a "Through the keyhole" look at all things interesting within culture and the daily escapades of life. I work freelance as a PA but also in Fashion Consultancy...so my daily routine is never the usual 9-5 working in one place, I have never and never will be a creature of habit and have a love for random spontanaeity; which is an easy thing when living in a cultural hub like London.

I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I will enjoy writing it and hope it shows you a "Through the Keyhole" insight into any new and interesting things I see or find!
